We Are But Melted As One; We Are Intwined

I've got these appendages, I guess you could call them. I've got ways to hold you close, and push you away. My visual senses are painted with pain these hours I find myself alone and at a distance. I lose myself more than I thought I could, when I step into your world. I cross into your heightened realm of listless possibilities. With a touch of your fingers as they slip between mine, my heart stutters at your tenuous breath. I had one heart to give, and I gave it to you. I hold no remorse within this broken spirit, just a reminder of forever, for you. Inside my bloody walls the blood spews, throwing volts into my skin. I slink back inside your warmth and pull the gruesome pieces of myself together. They taste of anguish and ache created to swallow this sky. It's only the cries of promised eternity that shake the grounds in which it all came from. We swallow the darkness...
